Without doubt, my favourite event of any Australian fashion festival is the student runway, so I was stoked to get media accreditation to LMFF’s National Graduate Showcase. Last night the Showcase took centre stage at Docklands, presenting collections from 12 of our nation’s most exciting emerging designers, including offerings from WA’s own Celene Bridge and Jennifer Nebel from Curtin University.
Designs by Ana Diaz. Particularly love the leather skirt… her whole collection could be stocked at Gorman methinks.

I took a ridiculous number of photos, most of which can be found after the jump.

As a fellow designer in this event, I also love Celene’s work; she has probably ‘awakened’ me to infuse more drama and intricacies in my future designs. I am glad that you enjoyed my menswear.

The garments from Celene are beautiful… but could only ever be worn by 7 foot tall anorexic models.
