One of the only bridal fairs in Perth that doesn’t advocate the use of stretch hummer limos as a mode of transport, First Comes Love caters to brides and grooms to be with more of an eclectic/rustic style in mind for their nuptials, which made it the perfect place to promote the newly rebranded Dropstitch as a wedding styling and event planning company. Surrounded by exceptionally talented vendors with a great eye for design, I set up a stall of my own at First Comes Love over the weekend, meeting lots of lovely brides to be and their friends and family along for moral support.

I decorated my stall with blooms galore, as well as a few of my favourite kitsch animal salt and pepper shakers, plus bunting, paper flowers and cute bottles and teacups borrowed from Maevana at Festive Fox. The result was a colourful mix of retro bits and bobs, which is one of my favourite styles to work in. Thanks to everyone who popped past and said hello – I hope you left FCL feeling suitably inspired! And big ups to everyone at Studio Bomba for their hard work organising First Comes Love – the event wouldn’t have been possible without their awesomeness!
