Since graduating from Central Institute’s fashion course five years ago, Perth born Jaime Lee Major has gone on to achieve more than some designers hope for in a life time. From dressing Kimbra to the Kardashians, and finding fans in Kelly Cutrone and Johnny Wujek (stylist to the stars), Jaime has experienced a meteoric rise to fame over the past few years, and as demonstrated by her incredible creations on show at Perth Fashion Festival last night, every triumph is very well deserved.
Dripping in sequins, crystals, lace and beads, models sauntered down a reflective silver runway under huge floral archways created by local florist Rebecca Grace – a truly spectacular sight. Easily the most breathtakingly beautiful Perth Fashion Festival show I’ve ever been to, Jaime’s collection had everyone in the audience in awe, and is sure to garner her an even bigger fan base. Congrats to Jaime and all involved in helping make this show a reality!
