Things are rather busy here at Dropstitch/All Of The Above Creative HQ, as Hannah (my partner in crime) and myself prepare for the Perth Fashion Festival, which kicks off this Wednesday, September 21. This year PFF has enlisted AOTA to give their ReStyle event (an initiative that promotes/supports op shopping) a new lease on life, and we came up with quite a few nifty ideas…

For the duration of PFF a ReStyle campsite will be set up smack bang in the middle of the Perth Cultural Centre, and the star attraction will be Peachy, a refurbished 1960s ReStyle caravan! In addition to being thoroughly cute, Peachy will also become a portable op shop, home to clothing and accessories from a variety of West Australian charity stores.

There will be a different pop-up store next to Peachy in the ReStyle campsite each day, including:

Thu Sept 22: lonely as a cloud and On A Whim
Fri Sept 23: Pigeonhole Vintage
Sat Sept 24: Awoke on a Whale Heart
Sun Sept 25: Two Bucks ‘Til Wednesday’s Spring Break!
Mon Sept 26: The Vintage Frock Shop
Tue Sept 27: Oh Henry Vintage

ReStyle will also take to the runway of Fashion Central for shows on Friday, September 23, at 11am and on Saturday, September 24 at 11.45am. There will be plenty of awesome looks from Anglicare WA, DrugARM WA, Australian Red Cross, Salvos, Good Sammy Shops, Save the Children and Vinnies, plus one-off designs made from op-shopped and recycled materials by On A Whim, Lonely As A Cloud, On Tour, Little Gracie and Peppermint Milk, which you can bid on.
