While out Dropstitching last week, someone I was photographing asked me how long I’ve been blogging and I was stumped – I knew I’d started Dropstitch a few years ago but couldn’t be sure of the exact date. When I got home I checked the archives and realised that the blog was brought in to the realm of the living in June 2007, which makes June 2010 our third year birthday. I’ve decided to celebrate this occasion with a shindig of some description, including an exhibition of Dropstitch photographs, and was wondering if anyone has suggestions about the location…? Also, if anyone knows of somewhere/someone who might like to print some of my favourite Dropstitch photographs at a reasonable price, please let me know!

hello! what about ‘behind the monkey’ on beaufort st? a friend of mine had her exhibition there a couple of months ago, and it was really neat.
Hey Doll, Somewhere like Kulcha above Dome in Freo should be good.. I have been to an art exhibition there and it was really raw and awesome… as for printing not sure… but I’m so excited to come along… I just stumbled accross your blog because of CLEO well done!
hey Em, I think I read something about Pigeonhole acquiring an exhibition space not too long ago? And the Perth Centre for Photography could be an option too, although I’m not sure what they charge/if you have to be a member etc
